This was a game in which you had no idea which team was the better team, but in the end after playing catch-up Grambling got its first lead lead in the third quarter.
Grambling was lead by third-string QB Jonathan Williams who passed for 250 yards.Grambling had to play without first-string QB Stephen Johnson who injured his ankle last week in a victory over Jackson State then second-string QB D.J.Williams left the game in the first quarter with a knee injury which led to QB Jonathan Williams leading the way to a victory over Prairie View.
But it was PV who took the hardest hit when senior defensive end Ekene Mordi injured his leg during warmups but still PV played tough with junior running back Johnta Heberts scoring the the first touchdown on a 8 yard run and two field goals ( 35,42) from red shirt freshman kicker Chris Barrick but it still weren't enough as Grambling took home the victory with a 26-20 win.
